Travels, talks, training and time…would you pray?

Dear praying friends,

Dr. Richard is in the midst of a 12-day, five-city trip across SE Asia. The Lord willing, he is to speak twice at GProCongress Indonesia this week. Pray for this major follow-up event to the Global Proclamation Congress for Pastoral Trainers held last June in Bangkok. Pray for energy, wisdom and good times of connection for Dr. Richard as he forges through a tight schedule.

GPA Vanuatu is also set to begin this week, on March 2. Specifically ask God to direct the materials we shipped for this national GPA to the right people at the right time. Also ask His blessing on each organizer and attending pastor over these 10 days of targeted training and connecting.

For the Dallas GPA, please continue to intercede for the 27 accepted candidates (three from new countries) planning to attend. Pray for favor, as 15 of them have yet to apply for visas, and for good options and costs as we begin to book their travel.

Finally, Dr. Richard desires to carve out more time in his schedule for study and for writing new talks and materials. Please ask God to provide good opportunities for this, and for insight and creativity during those times.

Thank you!

Mobilizing Mobilizers

Dear praying friends,

The road to the GProCongress is not easy, but God is good, faithful and all-powerful, and we can see Him answering prayer daily. Thank you for praying. Twenty-five first-rate leaders of nine SE Asian nations who met with Dr. Ramesh Richard on his last trip have begun implementing plans to mobilize more than 1,000 delegates. Dr. Richard also met with leaders from highly influential believing communities in two other nearby countries. We’re praying for each to send 500 delegates.

Please ask God for clear direction as Dr. Richard considers trips to the Middle East and South America in the next month. Pray for the right people to be available to meet with him and for best stewardship of time, resources, physical health and relationship in the midst of numerous opportunities and demands.

Thank you for continuing to remember Dr. Richard’s family in prayer. Intercede for the Lord Jesus’ protection and peace, and praise Him for His infinite blessings.

Praises from Montana; GPA Trinidad and Tobago

Dear praying friends,

We have much to praise God for! During a trip to Montana last week, Dr. Richard and Bonnie got to enjoy a couple of refreshing days amid the splendors of creation. Dr. Richard also spoke in three church services, met with church leaders, and spoke at an lovely, dinner event. Organizers estimate at least 12 people made written professions for the Lord Jesus Christ. Although brief, it was a wonderful respite from constant GProCongress intensity.

The Lord willing, Dr. Richard hopes to join Bonnie for a few days this week with their son Robby and his wife, Nathalie, and super-grandkids Joshua (5) and Emma (3) before leaving again on a three-country SE Asia sojourn to share the GProCongress vision with several groups. Praise God for these opportunities. Ask Him for joyful times with family and friends, travel and health mercies, and another wave of excitement about the Congress.

GPA Trinidad and Tobago started last Friday and is scheduled to wrap up Sunday, Oct. 25. Praise God for this opportunity for very focused connecting, uniting and strengthening, and pray for lasting fruit from it.

Thank you!

GPA Tanzania underway; Dr. Richard set for “nonstop” 2-week trip through SE Asia

Dear praying friends,

God continues to sustain Dr. Richard through a demanding schedule (that is only going to get more so!) Over the past week he made strategic progress toward the GProCongress—now only 449 days away. He also prepared a deeply thoughtful piece on grappling with the atrocity of terrorism. Look for this important article in your upcoming RR Crossing newsletter, and pray for not only those undergoing appalling persecution, but also that testimony to the Savior will reach and transform the persecutors.

We also want to let you know God is granting favor to your (and our) prayers:

  • 14 Dallas GPA candidates have received visas, including one previously denied; eight more have appointments. We continue asking the Lord for the right 25 pastors, at least five from new countries.
  • Despite one car full of pastors breaking down on the way, GPA Tanzania has begun with 34 delegates. Pray for special connections, unity and strengthening. These elements are strategic to the uniqueness and effectiveness of all GPAs.
  • Dr. Richard is scheduled to speak at multiple events and has important GProCongress engagements over a two-week, three-country, four-stop sprint through Southeast Asia.
  • Intercede for a Program leader to join the GProCongress team at their on-site meetings March 30 – April 2.
