Dear praying friends,

Sunday service in one of the fastest-growing churches in the world

People are hungry for God. The picture above shows Ramesh Richard’s view as he spoke in one of the fastest-growing churches in the world during his recent South Asia trip. He spoke in two of five services which average 20,000 to 25,000 attendees each. At a mega youth conference of 15,000 the church held the next day, around 10,000 responded to his invitation.

From there he went to teach at the first pastors conference held in conjunction with RREACH’s first Chair of Preaching and Pastoral Ministries, established at SAIACS a year ago. The attendance–55–was but a fraction of that at the mega-church. But for Dr. Richard, it was more strategic. The reason is simple: multiplication. Those pastors, by God’s grace, will lead many future churches.

This last week Ramesh gave several “heart message” talks to about 200 church planting leaders from around the world at a Global Alliance for Church Multiplication Forum in Minneapolis, Minn. Their goal is 5 million churches planted by 2020. The corresponding challenge: Who is going to pastor those church plants to long-term health? RREACH’s Global Proclamation Commission is working on that. At the same time the forum was in session, 36 pastors and 18 wives were finishing training in Cuba’s second national Global Proclamation Academy.

That, dear prayer partners, is how God is multiplying the effect of your prayers!

The response has been encouraging. “Your talk was superb today. Superb. Much positive feedback. We thank God for His provision.” And from a media conference in South Asia, “I could see the Holy Spirit working in every word you spoke. I clearly see God’s hand in hand picking you for this year’s conference, and from the feedback we are getting, I am seeing God igniting hearts to move forward in the area of the harvest.”

We can’t tell you how much we appreciate you. Please keep on praying. The Lord willing, RREACH’s board of directors meets this weekend, GPA Mexico begins next week, and we are planning a retreat for pastors and families in a desperately dangerous region.

New Congress connections in Arab- and Russian-speaking worlds

Dear praying friends,

Praise God! He provided two windows of opportunity into the Arab-speaking and Russian-speaking worlds—and the required travel visas—for Dr. Ramesh Richard to make new connections for the GProCongress. In addition to praying for good fruit for the Congress, please ask the Lord for special endurance and clarity of mind since Dr. Richard’s flight out of Dallas on Sunday was delayed, leading to a missed connection and a night of sleep lost for him and his host in the Northern Africa region.

Also praise God for the steady response to the GProCongress Inspirational Challenge of $1.1 million by March 31. Generous friends have given about half of that goal amount. Every gift is precious. We just received the following note from a pastor in Ethiopia: “I am so much impressed by the scope and scale of your influence and would like to be part of it. Thank you for your sponsorship of the logistics which none of us would get chance to afford it unless and otherwise.

Dr. Richard, the RREACH team and the GProCongress team are deeply grateful for your prayers that they will remain focused on and abiding in the Lord Jesus Christ. Please continue to pray for His total protection and global provision.

Sneak peek inside GProCongress venue; pray it full!

Dear praying friends,

We can’t thank you enough for your prayers for Dr. Richard and the GProCongress team. Please remember them as most of the team meets on-site in Bangkok this week and others continue their labors in the critical areas of registration, follow-up, program management, coach procurement, and funding.

We also ask your intercession as we seek to bring to the Congress substantive numbers of delegates who serve in troubled regions and under impoverished conditions. Pray for God to clear political and social barriers and to provide abundantly for these faithful men and women who deeply desire to come. Please also pray for His provision for RREACH, as we have committed to pay for all hotel, food, venue and internal transportation for every attendee.

GPA Thailand Part 2 is scheduled for the end of this week. Dr. Richard hopes to be with them one evening. Pray for their connecting, uniting and strengthening and for good fruit from their better proclamation of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you for praying, here’s how God answered

Dear praying friends,

Praise be to God! He sustained and spoke through Dr. Ramesh Richard through his 48 hours of super-intensity—seven speaking engagements and many important connections. Comments from the young senior pastor of Bethel AG Church to Dr. Richard testify to how the Lord answered our prayers: “Thank you for standing in queue for personal prayers from our prayer volunteers during the 6pm worship session, some actions have spoken very loud…. The pastoral team has picked up from so much from your gracious expressions just as they have from your wonderful messages. Thank you for taking up preaching in all the four services and doing it with such passion and sincerity.” Thank you, pray-ers, for your vital part in Dr. Richard’s ministry.

Also praise God for a good start to GPA Lebanon. Nineteen pastors, some from closed countries in the area, have gathered (one could not come because of his mother’s illness). Continue to lift them, their families, and the organizers and Master Coaches to the Lord.

Despite challenges, the Lord is moving GProCongress preparations forward. Many from Dr. Richard’s recent meetings are enthused about attending and spreading the word. Please pray diligently for this excitement to grow through upcoming vision gatherings, for the registration process to work well, and for the funding to help these eager pastoral trainers.

“We have learned a new thing…”: praise/prayer update from Africa

Dear Praying Friends,

Praise: GPA Mali accomplished!

mali 3Against earthly odds, 21 pastors graduated from GPA Mali last week. Master Coach Pastor MN reported,

It was a new experience which challenged us in a new way. We have learned a new thing to trust God more in hard situations. The world news highlights on Mali: Ebola, Jihaddists, etc., and not enough attendees in the first three days, really shook us. If it were not for Christ’s sake we could have decided otherwise. But now, we have joy and thanksgiving in our heart. As Paul said, ‘We have kept the faith,’ and RREACH has shown how much it cares for the Church of Christ, for it could have cancelled the Mali national GPA.”

“We are thankful to God for His grace, care, protection and provision throughout the whole GPA Mali.

Dr. Richard’s Journey Through Africa

Dr. Richard is grateful for the prayers sustaining him through less-than-ideal circumstances when he first reached Africa. His hosts’ warm spirits blessed him through a busy first few days in Malawi and South Africa. Please continue to intercede for him as he heads, the Lord willing, into a large pastors conference and evangelistic events in Uganda, as well as GProCongress vision-casting gatherings with leaders in Uganda and Ethiopia. Also pray for organizers and attendees.

Thank you for praying!
