Our God never changes. We praise Him for that while the world reels. Thank Him for these new opportunities to care for others and introduce them to the only one who can save them. Pray for His enablement to seize this time for the very best of many everywhere.

Pray that new audiences will find and engage with LifeRocks videos and podcasts while people spend more time online. Pray that God will give Dr. Richard and the Media team fresh messages and creative ideas for maximizing this outreach.

Even though we hope to give them a chance to attend in 2021, the pastors accepted to the 2020 Dallas GProAcademy are fighting discouragement and disappointment at its cancellation. Please ask God to sustain them, as well as protect them. (See Dr. Richard’s statement about this here.)

Over 2,100 Dallas and national GProAcademy graduates are proclaiming and living out God’s Word in more than 100 countries around the world during the present crisis. Thank God for them. Pray for His protection and empowerment.

We need wisdom and favor regarding the Global Proclamation Congress for Trainers of Pastors of Latin America & the Caribbean, scheduled for October 2020, the Lord willing. Please ask God’s direction and provision in negotiations with the venue. Pray for solutions that bless everyone involved. Pray that God’s leading will be clear.

Moving forward in faith

Dear praying friends,

You are invited to join our next virtual prayer gathering on Thursday, March 19, at 8:00 p.m. U.S. Central Daylight Savings Time. For more information, please email Melissa@rreach.org or call +1 972-528-6100.

In brief:

  • Praise God for the growing registration list for the Global Proclamation Congress for Trainers of Pastors of Latin America and the Caribbean; pray for many more registrations.
  • Pray for the 2020 Dallas Global Proclamation Academy candidates still applying for visas.
  • Pray for Dr. Richard’s trip to several countries in the south of Africa.
  • Praise God for sustaining the graduates of GPA Chad. Pray for upcoming national GPAs.

The bigger picture:

The latest count of trainers of pastors registered for the GProLATAM&CARIB Congress is 151. Praise God! Pray for the team working diligently to mobilize the right 500. Pray for those who wish to attend but are hesitating to register because of potential airfare costs. RREACH is covering all their conference costs, including boarding and lodging. Pray that they will step forward in faith to register now.

We have 13 candidates for the 2020 Dallas GPA with visas. We need 12 more. Please ask God for great favor on those applying for visas (five this week). Pray for the team in Dallas as they prepare.

Dr. Richard is off on a trip to several countries in southern Africa. Pray for his health, safety and impact. Pray that he will be sensitive to God and proclaim His Word clearly and winsomely. Pray that pastoral leaders will be encouraged and pre-Christians attracted to the Lord Jesus. Praise God for Dr. Richard’s  recent fruitful trips to Nashville and Atlanta in the U.S.

Nineteen of 26 GPA Chad attendees, in addition to some organizers, came down with malaria and flu during the GPA. Praise God that they persevered to finish! Pray for His protection as they return to their ministries better able to preach and live biblically.

Please also pray for a national GPA for pastors from a closed Southeast Asian country. Organizers ask for earnest prayer regarding coronavirus and other concerns that could hinder pastors from attending.

Thank you!

Dear praying friends,

Summers are usually “off” for professors. Mine are not. The Dallas Global Proclamation Academy (GProAcademy), held at Dallas Seminary, keeps me teaching on the seminary campus for a month. Soon after sending all 28 pastors to their homelands, we went into project evaluation, decisions and actions.

The very next day, I left on an enjoyable but intense two weeks at CRU’s Institute of Biblical Studies in Fort Collins, Colorado, where I taught on the subject of GOD-BIBLE-HOLY SPIRIT to about 60 students. We do share a ministry “DNA”!

Upon return to Dallas, I plunged into planning meetings for the 2020 Global Proclamation Congress for Pastoral Trainers of Latin America & the Caribbean (GProLATAM/CARIB Congress). RREACH’s board and staff and Dallas Seminary colleagues attended the private signing ceremony of the first event of the next 10 years under God’s sovereignty. Would you be with us June 27, 2020, in Dallas for the public launching of our next decade? How’s that for a save-the-date alert?

RREACH also hosted a national GProAcademy graduating 24 pastoral leaders in Antigua and Barbuda, and I got to address them by video just before their graduation.

With death always being intrusive and interruptive, Bonnie and I rushed to Texarkana, Texas, to comfort the family of RREACH’s founding board chairman, as well as preach at Fellowship Church there. George Goode’s life was well lived, well run and well fought!

The month ended with holding an afternoon workshop for 28 African-American ministers in Albany, Georgia. They had gone through my Preaching Expository Sermons book for nearly six months under the tutelage of eminent preacher, new Dallas Seminary board member and urologist Dr. Frank Glover. In addition, RightNow.Org (the “Netflix of Christian Bible Study”) has just released an eight-video series on my preaching method.

Thank you for sending me to proclaim God’s Word with your prayers. May the Lord amplify the proclamation globally and multiply the proclamation locally.

In the Inexhaustible Vine,
RR

In his words: Ramesh Richard June update

Dear praying friends,

A full month it was, celebrating graduations, birthdays and anniversaries and traveling across continents…all because of you! God makes it possible through your praying.

From the faculty section at Dallas Seminary’s graduation, I tweeted, “Dallas Theological Seminary 2019 Graduation vignette: reminder of experience 40 years ago! My 1979 class reunion revealed many deceased, most retired, the rest serving God, with some still in missions in the U.S.A. and abroad. Until we no longer can, we shall.” Teaching at DTS is something specific and strategic I do for the U.S.A., contributing here even as I do elsewhere.

Elsewhere, I addressed a “sold-out” leadership forum of 125 leaders for three days in Albania, the world’s first officially atheistic state. The highlight was reaching 100 guests. A dozen professed decisions for the Lord Jesus. Christ’s Church prevails!

I rushed to beautiful Rwanda via Istanbul, with a 6 ½ hour wait in the world’s largest and newest airport, a witness to the greatness of humanity. I encountered the awfulness of humanity, however, in Kigali at the 25th remembrance season of the 1 million people, 100-day genocide. I proclaimed God’s Word to 200 opinion leaders, 500 pastoral leaders, 175 pastoral trainers and 200 university students over four days.

After an eight-hour overnight wait in Doha, I traveled back home on my 66th birthday. Since the Middle East is eight hours ahead, I turned it into the longest birthday of my life! If you have other secrets to extending hours and days and years, let me know. For Bonnie’s birthday, we visited our grandchildren and their parents in Greenville, S.C., along with a quick trip to Charleston. It was also the wedding anniversary month of Bonnie’s and my parents and of our oldest son, Ryan, and his wife, Chelsie. I praise God for my family—past, present and future.

We have been in full-throttle with the 2019 Dallas Global Proclamation Academy. Pray for a memorable finish (including my graduation talk)! God has already done mighty things and we look forward to updating you more in days to come. The important thing now is to say thank you for helping make this global proclamation ministry possible.

Dallas GPA praise and urgent prayer request

Answer to prayer: Praise be to God! RREACH now has 28 pastors with visas who plan to attend the Dallas GPA! This has been a major prayer concern and we thank all who have prayed. Having a visa does not guarantee entry into a country, though, so please continue to pray.
Urgent request: A critical aspect of the Dallas GPA is housing all the pastors on the Dallas Seminary campus. Not enough rooms are currently available and we must begin the move-in process in less than two weeks. We ask your fervent prayer that God will open up all the rooms needed.

Thank you!

Dear praying friends,

In brief:

  • At this Holy time, we remember the sacrifice of the Cross and rejoice in the victory of the Resurrection.
  • We still need pastors for the 2019 Dallas Global Proclamation Academy. Please pray.
  • Pray for the launch of our newest LifeRocks media outreach video and our upcoming session to film new videos.
  • The Lord willing, Dr. Richard heads to Central Albania and Rwanda in the next few weeks. Pray for preparations.

Easter Greetings

In this precious time for our global family of Faith, let us think on our Lord Jesus Christ with humility and joy. Let us faithfully represent Him and uphold those proclaiming Him everywhere. He is risen!

We need your ongoing intercession for the 2019 Dallas GProAcademy (dGPA). Momentum in getting pastors has slowed considerably. We currently have 18 pastors who have successfully secured visas; we are asking God for the right 25. Pray for the seven pastors who have yet to apply for visas. Pray for more good candidates from new or under-represented countries to apply for the dGPA. Many excellent pastors have applied, but we must continue recruiting because their U.S. visas were denied.

Please also pray for the national GProAcademies set to begin next week in Panama and Indonesia (women’s).

Our newest LifeRocks media outreach video is scheduled to launch soon. Praise God for the opportunities provided by today’s technologies! Pray for many to watch the video, share it and talk with online counselors. Pray that they will recognize and receive the Lord Jesus as the one true God and only Savior. Also pray for Dr. Richard and the team as they prepare to record another set of videos next week.

Please lift up preparations for Dr. Richard’s upcoming trip to Albania and Rwanda. Pastoral training events and outreaches are being planned in both places. Both countries have difficult histories and this is the 25th anniversary year since the Rwandan genocides. Pray for God to open key opportunities for Dr. Richard to minister. Pray that he will bring glory to God, encouragement to those of the Faith, and hope to the desperate.

Thank you for praying—because He is risen indeed!
